"Ian"

A little story about Ian......
On Sunday we lost Ian for about 1 hour!
We finished our sacrament meeting and the kids took off to primary. After an hour of primary his teacher runs into Kasi in the hall and asked if Ian was still sick. She said no, he should have been in class, but his teacher said he never made it to class. We searched the building and NO IAN.... He rode his bike to church, so I checked to see if his bike was missing, but the bike was still on the bike rack, so where is Ian? Kasi is in full panic at this point and I knew if somebody had taken him they would bring him back sooner than later. As I was on my way out to see if he walked home I ran into a neighbor and he asked if I was looking for Ian. I said YES! He said he is at home playing in the front yard. I drove home and there I found Ian Miller covered from head to toe in MUD! I asked him what he was doing at home and he told me that he was sick of church and came home. He said he told mom, but she didn't listen. I told him that someone would steal him and he said "They wouldn't because he was hiding in the back yard in the sand box." Well, we cleaned up and went back to church. On the way home he said "Other people came home the same time I did." The bishop commented that he was going to be the SPY to see who came home early. Needless to say we had a good laugh. He is such a character and full of ......! We love him and he keeps us going.
Ian sitting on his new bed in his new bedroom. He loves sharing his room with Mason.

Ian loves to dress up! It's his favorite thing. Granny has the best dress ups.

Superman with cowboy boots. He loves his cowboy boots!

  1. Just love that boy! We've had a Church runaway too - but more than once! It really is no fun to sit still on hard seats that are too high for little legs (so they start to fall asleep and tingle) and listen to grownups talk about stuff that doesn't make sense.
