Kasi delivered our new baby GIRL!!!!!!!

Born: July 9, 2008 @ 5:54 P.M.
The day started at around 5AM, going to the hospital and Kasi getting induced a few days early. We had a good day, making progress, and then Kasi pushed 3 times and the head was out. As soon as the head was out, panic!!!! the cord was wrapped twice around the baby's neck and what ever Dr. Thompson said as he saw the double cord, got a team of 10 in the room and ready to get that baby out. He cut the cord before the baby's body made it out. It was pretty intense for a while. Dr. Thompson stayed calm while Kasi and I stressed out beyond belief. They rushed the baby over to the team to start working on her and they kept counting and hearing no cry made us very uneasy. Kasi did an incredible job with the delivery. The baby is still in the New born Intensive Care. They are watching over her and making sure things are going well. Dr. Thompson feels like things are going to be just fine. We really don't know what to do with a girl. The boys are so excited to have a new baby sister. Ian's first words were, "I won, I knew it was a girl the whole time." We haven't really got to spend a lot of time with the baby, but we are excited to bring her home to all boy clothes and boy toys. What a great day we had. Please help us with a name for our new baby girl. I will keep you posted on the events of our new addition to the Miller Family.

Congrats! Kasi you are such a stud! Can't wait to meet that sweet little girl. We are so happy everyone is doing fine. We will keep her in our prayers (only for the mere fact that Kenny is her dad!) Love you guys!

ReplyDeleteShe is adorable! I am so glad to see these pics! I'll have to tell you about my weird dream of seeing you guys in church and kenny carrying the baby around in the baby carrier and when I saw the baby, she had long(I mean past her bum) long, curly hair and looked like a doll! It was cooky! I woke up and just had to check for some real pictures of this new one. Glad she is doing well and that she is cute as a button!

Angie and i have been watching to see when this baby made her appearance. We are excited for you. I know when Ang & Tye finally make it here sometime in Aug or Sept., she will want to come see Kaitlyn. I’m not waiting that long, and will call in a week +. Girls are so fun, and you never have to worry about getting shot in the eye. Terrie
