Hats off to Grandma Hacker!

My mom, better know as grandma Hacker is on her way to China...again. She is starting up dance classes for all of those cute little chinese girls. I don't know of any other human being that would want to take that flight and face all of the challenges that she is going to face in starting up a business in China. She is one brave woman. I look up to her a lot. She has the energy of a 13 year old. My boys already miss her and she has only been gone one day. I wish her the best of luck and I know that whatever she wants...she will get.

  1. Hurray! The Miller's are alive and well! I haven't checked on you lately, but here you are. How are you handling that husband of yours being gone? I know he he is having a hard time not being there, please bring those boys over so you can have a break! p.s. We did that same Easter project with my activity day girls

  3. I can't tell you how much I miss the two cutest grandsons on the face of the earth. I have looked around and have failed to see any two boys that are cuter, even in China!

I do love the way the Chinese parents and grandparents fuss over their "one" child or grandchild. We went to dinner tonight and saw everyone out eating with their child and enjoying every minute of the experience. What would we do if we could only have one child?

The Chinese parents don't even like to use a stroller, they want to hold and love their child every minute possible.

I'm so grateful for Mason and Ian, they have a lot of positive energy and light up every room they enter.

It made my day to get to see and talk to them on skype.com today. I hope to bring them to China one day to visit our apartment here and enjoy the unique Chinese culture. Everyone LOVES children! They plan their day around their children and grandchildren.

My Chinese hosts, Andrew and Stella are having their "child" in August. They already have so many plans for their baby.

  4. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KENNY AND KASI, APRIL 5!

Even though the Super Steppers had to cancel their halftime show at the San Antonio Spurs game in Texas because you decided to get married that day, I guess it all worked out! We like Kenny after all---so it was a good move. The Super Steppers ended up going to Hawaii instead and the girls ended up with some nice tans that year and a few brutal sunburns.

My feet still feel like bloody stumps from standing in your reception line to shake hands and hug over 900 people (what were you thinking!)

....just keep the cute grandchildren coming and I will be able to forget the huge bunnions that grew on my feet on that long April 5th day!

    HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
