Nephi Homecoming 1992

This is Kasi at Nephi's Homecoming with Bill Wilkey. Is she HOT or what? I will let Kasi add to the post later.
This is my favorite cousin Angie, I wish I could go back in time to this moment. We had such a great time at Nephi Homecoming. Look at the faces on our dates - they look mortified. They were probably so embarrassed by us. We were the only two on the dance floor when then "fast" music came on (besides Heinz Kirchhausen - true story). We could of cared less, no one knew us so we acted like total idiots!!! A special thank you to Bill and Brett Wilkey for the best action ever (not, they dropped us off at the hotel and left before we had a chance to take our dresses off!!!)

Remembering Natalie

MUST READ!!!! Be ready to CRY!!! Very powerful story!
http://rememberingnatalie.blogspot.com/

I found this blog from a friend and I should have NOT read it. I sat in my office and cried like a baby. All of the feelings of when Kasi was in the hospital (7 months pregnant) with Mason and her appendix had burst. I remember sitting with her and the doctor's (every OB in town) checking her out and not knowing what was wrong. We waited hours and hours before they took her in for surgery. Every doctor trying to diagnose her and Kasi masking the symptoms and the pain. She knew she was in trouble and so did I, but this was out of my hands. I felt so helpless and wanted this experience to go away. When the doctor's finally said we need to do an amniocentesis test and there is a large risk in doing so. Dr. Tug Miller telling me that I may lose my wife and baby if her appendix had ruptured and the poisoned fluid mixes with the baby's amniotic fluid. He explained what was going to happen and I had to sign a form stating the risk. I had no other choice but to have the procedure done. When I was reading this blog, all my feelings that I felt while she was in surgery came back. I was scared and couldn't do anything about it. I prayed like I have never prayed before. I had a good feeling inside, but still the unknowing. The Lord has a plan and he is in control. This story of Natalie is amazing. I don't even know her, but she is a powerful person. We knew Colby by going to Cafe Rio daily for Lunch and Dinner, but only heard stories about Natalie. I love my Kasi more than you know. She is an AMAZING wife, mother and friend. She makes life worth living.

Top of the Mornin’ to ya from the USA!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day from St. George Utah

Just think we were in Ireland last year at this time. Marching in the Killarney St. Patrick's Day Parade. We wish we were there right now. We are looking forward to celebrating all day long. Mason is doing a school report on Ireland in his class today. He is so excited. We will be wearing GREEN all day and night. Cherrie made Corn beef and cabbage for dinner last night to celebrate the eve of my most celebrated holiday. Ireland is my second home and I will always love you for making such great memories in my life and the life of my family. I eat, drink and sleep Ireland. Have a great day.
We Love you!

Blogging???

This blogging has got out of control. I have banned Kasi from blogging. The only thing she wants to do is BLOG!!! I see all of our friends blogging and not really paying attention to their families. Their kids have NOT been fed, the toilets haven't been cleaned and dinner is NOT on the table. I see kids running in the streets until midnight without shirts and shoes. OH, This describes the MILLER'S. I wonder what the Prophet is going to say about this in the next General Conference. I love giving Chris Sparks a hard time about blogging. He is constantly blogging. Now he works with me he is going through blogging addition detox. The truth is that I find myself reading all the blogs and wishing we had a good one like Shayne Scott and Melinda Clove. Keep the blogs going, it gives me something to do while I'm living in Las Vegas. Kenny

Who has the time?

I am just amazed with all of you bloggers. I don't even have time to clean my toilets let alone sit down at the computer and come up with something fun and creative for a people to read. How do any of you have the time for this? Maybe I'll get better at this as time goes by. Hope everyone is happy and healthy. The Miller family is going great. I am still pregnant for 100 more years, Kenny is training in Vegas all week (so we look forward to the weekends!), Mason is 6 going on 16, and Ian is hell on wheels. I wonder what baby #3 will be like? Keep smiling. Kasi
